INTERNATIONAL TRANSACTIONS
We assist on a range of international contractual matters. We advise companies and individuals, in international transactions or cross-border contractual issues.
We can also support law firms assisting clients in international transactions or having cross-border contractual issues.
Directly or, when necessary, in association with local lawyers with whom we have personal and well-established relationships, we can serve our clients’ legal needs around the world (selected countries).
Our assistance includes both preparation and review of commercial agreements, licensing, distribution agreements, cooperation agreements, intercompany agreements, sales agent agreement, employment agreements, and many others. For details on the service that CGC offers, please consult our list of services.
While we do provide only a prima facie taxation advice, we can refer or associate lawyers of our network in many countries to serve the needs of our clients.
We have extensive experience in assisting both major companies and international groups, small and medium-sized companies in relation to several types of international agreements. We have assisted clients in their negotiations and in their on-going contractual legal issues in several countries, including Italy, UK, Spain, Germany, US, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, India, China, Indonesia, and Hong Kong directly and in association with local counsel.
INTERNATIONAL LITIGATION
If you – as an individual or business – need legal representation in international litigation, you might consider contacting Crystal and Giannoni-Crystal. Either directly or through our network of trusted law firms and lawyers in alliance, we can assist in personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, privacy litigation, or malpractice when there is an international “twist” to it.
We also support other lawyers and law firms involved in international litigation (both pre- and post-judgment activities), for example through choice of law or forum analysis, support in service of process, and taking of evidence abroad. We can also assist in drafting (if you are the lawyer) or review (if you are the client) engagement agreements; we can advise on specific issues, review foreign documents for privilege or other issues, issue opinions of law/affidavits, refer to and coordinate with local counsel, when needed.
